“This postcard may be one of many in your collection, but is the warmest you will ever receive, because is sent with love from the hot Andalucia and Costa del Sol” – with this warm message my close friend Oli has greeted me, who btw is from Macedonia but she is often on the road, exploring new places. Seville crossed on her travel map and she says, is must visit place.
Additional info – The city of Seville is the birthplace of Flamenco and Tapas, home of Spain’s best Fiestas and Final burial place of the explorer Christopher Columbus.
And one of the most interesting things for me is that it has its own motto or “secret code” – NO8DO. According to legend the secret code NO8DO was given to the city by King Alfonso X. You will catch glimpses of it all around the city and is said to translate to ‘it has not abandoned me’ (meaning the city of Seville).
