Puente de Piedra

Ana is my dear friend from Macedonia, tend to travel a lot. And she knows how to make my day from the places she is visiting. We spent a great evening in Bitola, a few years back, with never-ending stories and talks and I hope in near future we will repeat that.

Additional info – Zaragoza (Saragossa) is the capital of Spain’s autonomous region of Aragón, which used to be its own kingdom. It is a very beautiful city founded some 2000 years ago, a place with rich history and is home to many grand monuments, palaces and houses. If you are interested in art, Zaragoza is the best place to find the work of Francisco de Goya in the museum Collection Ibercaja Museum Zaragoza Goya.
On the postcard, you can see the bridge Puente de Piedra across the River Ebro. The Puente de Piedra is also called the Bridge of Lions because since 1991 four lions have been placed on the pillars at each end of the bridge.
Right behind the bridge is the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. I am not sure which detail to tell you first about this grand beauty, so those interested please read more in the link:
