Map and Stamps

Denny, Australia

This time instead of words, Denny choose stamps to spoke for themselves😂, but to be honest i really like it. They all are unique in their own way and are telling more about australian nature than any other written word. Denny knows the way ❤
Also the map is just amazing. It left me speechless and i cannot stop reading about all the things and cities mentioned on the postcard.
I will only write for few of them, but i dare you to search and read more about the other places mentioned and to find your favorite.

Additional information –
* Kalgoorlie – is the hub of the Western Australian Goldfields. The town was founded in 1893 during the Coolgardie gold rush, and is located close to the so-called “Golden Mile”. Kalgoorlie remains one of the most important mining areas in the world, with several large mining operations located in and around the City, including the huge Super Pit – Fimiston Open Pit, so big it can be seen from space!

* Nullarbor plain – is part of the area of flat, almost treeless, arid or semi-arid country of southern Australia. The Nullarbor National Park preserves rare vegetation and fauna. The plain has many limestone caves, including Koonalda Cave, an important archaeological site.

* Uluru – or Ayers Rock, is a massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory’s arid “Red Centre”. It is famous for its gorgeous auburn hue, which seems to change with changing seasons and time of day.
It is a Sacred Site. Known as being the resting place for the past ancient spirits of the region. A large portion of its surrounds is Indigenous Protected Area, which protects the biodiversity, cultural, and social features within.
