Rajastani Men

Kanishka, India

I was very surprised when I read a traditional face. Is there such face? And I thought all people are different everywhere no matter where they come from, in one place you can notice different faces, but the picture itself proves the opposite. When I saw the picture I would not put it in any other culture except Indian. And it’s not stereotypical and it’s not that bad. That what brings and represents the culture and tradition of one’s society. The postcard itself is called The Face of India and I think there could not be a better description. The red turban (which is the most common) along with the mustache is what depicts traditional men in India.
And Kanishka always knows how to complement the postcards with each other so that they have a whole in the representation of India (this means there is another postcard for Indian women)
